New York born and raised, I grew up in Brooklyn, NY during the 70’s and 80’s and was immediately drawn to New York’s graffiti, music, and skateboard subcultures. It wasn’t until after I graduated from college with a BFA in 1995 that I decided on a career in photography. My girlfriend at the time bought me first “real” camera which I taught myself to use through trial and error. I am on a relentless pursuit trying to capture the raw energy, beauty, and emotion of each of everything I shoot.
Over the course of the last 20 years, I have shot some of the biggest names in the music, art, celebrity, and entertainment.
When I’m not shooting celebrity or entertainment related events, you can find me documenting the Arts. As a former graffiti writer, I have always stayed connected to the movement through my longstanding relationships with many of todays biggest graffiti and street artists, both on the streets and in the galleries.
My work has appeared in many publications, national and international, including People Magazine, US Weekly, InTouch, Juxtapoz Magazine, Live Nation, Premier Guitar, Broken Records Magazine, Jambase, ArrestedMotion, and Rolling Stone amongst others. My work has also been featured inside many music artists cd’s.
